Jay Ress, Managing Principal     Jay Ress, Managing Principal for The Outset Group, is an internationally recognized consultant, writer, and educator in the field of project management and business analysis.  Jay is also a successful entrepreneur who has built The Outset Group into a high end contracting firm and accredited provider of professional training in the fields of Project Management, Business Analysis, and Leadership. Jay holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. Jay is currently working on his forthcoming book – The Project Imperatives: How to lead any project on a predictable journey to success – which is set to be released in fall 2011. Jay holds Baccalaureate degrees in Sociology and Political Science from Brandeis University.  Additionally, Jay holds a Masters degree in International Relations from Brandeis University. He is a past Fulbright-Hays Research Fellow.  Jay is a black belt in the martial art of aikido, which he enjoys participating in and instructing.     Josh Dubin, VP of Business Development         Josh Dubin, Vice President of Business Development for The Outset Group, has been deeply involved with Business and Information Technology Training, Consulting, and Contracting in Nashville for 15 years. Josh was drawn to the IT training world where, as an account executive, he quickly found himself immersed in all facets of IT ­-- basic applications, enterprise development, infrastructure, and IT process.  Josh has experience with a major consulting group and has helped many organizations with virtualization and related areas.  Prior to joining forces at The Outset Group with Jay Ress, Managing Principal for The Outset Group, Josh had worked with Jay for many years on various projects.  In 2010, the pair worked to refocus the Project Management and Business Analysis professional services offered under the new company name, The Outset Group. Originally from Philadelphia, Josh moved to Nashville in 1989 to pursue a music career. After touring and playing with several artists, Josh settled down in Nashville and started a family. Josh enjoys golf, music, travel and living life with his family in beautiful Williamson County.   Elizabeth Dewar Director of Operations     Photo Coming Soon   Denise Grizzle Recruiter   Elizabeth Dewar, Director of Operations for The Outset Group, maintains crucial business operations for The Outset Group that include human resources, finances, payroll, marketing and web development.   Additionally, Elizabeth oversees Recruitment at The Outset Group. Elizabeth’s attention to detail is a major asset to recruiting at The Outset Group. Elizabeth is able to listen and assess each client’s needs, convey those needs to the recruiters, and deliver the most qualified candidates to the client in a timely manner.  Elizabeth’s capabilities extend to the management of any project in a practical and efficient manner. Furthermore, Elizabeth has a broad base of experience and expertise in steering the development of high-growth businesses.  In 2011, Elizabeth was appointed as a Notary for the State of Tennessee and is currently a member National Notary Association. Elizabeth is continually increasing her skill set through professional development courses and seminars.  Elizabeth studied Paralegal Studies with an emphasis on Business Administration along with Multi-Media Web Development. Elizabeth relocated to Middle Tennessee from Central Florida with her two children in 2001. She enjoys meeting new people, traveling, reading and spending time with her family. She is currently engaged to be married this year.       Biography Coming Soon       Charlene Cook Recruiting Coordinator     Photo Coming Soon   Christina LaRose Recruiting Coordinator       Charlene Cook, Recruiting Coordinator for The Outset Group, utilizes her vast experience to connect with clients and candidates.  Charlene’s work experience as a Police Dispatcher for over 20 years provides a unique skill set that is very valuable for recruiting.  During her time as a dispatcher, Charlene fielded thousands of calls requiring attention to detail with a quick and appropriate response.  Charlene applies the same skills to recruiting.  Charlene listens to the needs of our clients and responds by locating the most qualified candidates to meet client needs. Additionally, Charlene speaks German a major asset to The Outset Group as well as international clients and candidates.  A true “California Girl,” Charlene is from San Diego and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from San Diego State.  Charlene is a history buff who also enjoys Renaissance Art and Soft Jazz.         Biography Coming Soon
